YES WE ARE DOING FREE SHIPPING!!! 
However this only applies to about 98% of our stock which we think is AMAZING!!! and does come with one exception.

Why free shipping on only 98%?
This is because we have floor stock that require special consideration and excessive packaging to ensure they arrive safely and undamaged. The other reason is because we also have products that require skilled installation in order to ensure 100% customer satisfaction! for the above 2 reasons we are unable to offer free shipping on about 2% of our stock and we apologise for this!!!

What is the exception to having my products shipped for free?
The exception is if you live in a remote place of Australia where shipping, freight or transporting of goods is limited or specialised. Because of this we would have to seek a quote and inform you after your purchase. All major cities and townships and its surrounding suburbs should be absolutely fine!

How do we calculate Shipping?
There are so many anomalies to consider when shipping costs are calculated such as: shipping from, Shipping to, weight, how many products, size of product, how fragile, Insurance etc. etc

To preserve your sanity, we are now shipping to MOST of Australia. Places like Far North Queensland, and Isolated small towns may incur a small shipping fee which you can view in the table below. In this instance, we will contact you via email or phone, whichever method you have provided at checkout.

We have created the table below so that you know ahead of time how much you will be paying.  We have broken it down considering only one measurable constant, the product weight and insurance.

The best part is, regardless of how much it REALLY costs, we will pay the difference!! On top of this, you will not pay any more than $185 regardless of how heavy your items are, the man power to deliver, the means of transport, or how many products in your order. We will pay every cent over and above the weight classes below depending on where your products fall. 

The only thing to remember is that the weight is calculated as a total at checkout. And if you believe the rates below are still too expensive, don’t be shy, tell us! Reach out to us at info@modernbohointeriors.com and let us know! We want you to have the products you like.

  • 0.1kg – 5kg =  $15 
  • 5.1kg – 10kg =  $35
  • 10.1kg – 15kg =  $55
  • 15.1kg – 22.5kg =  $90
  • 22.6kg – 40kg =  $115
  • 40.1kg – 60kg =  $140
  • 60.1kg + =  $185

The weight of each item and the applicable cost will be at the bottom of the product description for your convenience. These shipping costs will be added to your cart automatically at checkout based on the total weight of your items.

FAQ

ARE WE STILL SHIPPING? Yes! We are still shipping to most places in Australia with limitation on remote areas. Remote area delivery is quoted for and assessed on a case by case basis. Factors to consider are weight, size, the quantity of packages, fragility of product, insurances, timeframe, and distance from a nearest major city. Please get in contact with us if you live in a remote area. We will obtain quotes for multiple carriers and choose the best suited to deliver your goods safely.

WHAT AM I PAYING FOR? We use a multitude of courier, freight and removalist companies to ship your goods. The shipping company is engaged after several considerations such as weight, size, the quantity of packages, the fragility of the product, insurances, timeframe, street access to the delivery address, KMs travelled, workforce labour, and price. The most significant factor is that you receive your goods in PERFECT condition. And if not, all insurances are in place to ensure you will have your product(s) with the least delay. All these factors are what you pay for, the most prominent being peace of mind knowing that your goods that are in transit are 100% insured.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS? It will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the email address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us.

WHAT IF MY GOODS ARRIVE DAMAGED? Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage you should make a note of it when signing for delivery.  If your item(s) do arrive damaged, please send photos to our email address and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf and will keep you informed. All our carriers have insurance.

IMPORTANT INFO when leaving your address it needs to be an actual address and not a PO Box. Our carriers deliver only to the front door or ground floor if you stay in an apartment block. There someone home to sign for your delivery as this is the best way to capture photos of any damage to your delivery IMMEDIATELY!! and we can move forward with getting you the best outcome. If no one is home, if there is no authority to leave at the door, a 2nd charge will be applied. Alternatively, you may arrange to pick up from the carriers depot.
